The internet tells us that success is viral. That visibility equals value. That likes, shares, and followers define achievement. I have seen brands explode overnight and disappear just as fast. I have learned that chasing algorithms is chasing sand. Metrics are fleeting. Trends are temporary. True power comes from building something meaningful, sustainable, and magnetic. That is why I believe in legacy over likes. That is the mindset that allows a brand to thrive beyond hype and remain impactful for years.

Algorithms Are Temporary

Platforms rise. Platforms fall. Trends spike. Algorithms change without warning. A brand that relies solely on virality is at the mercy of forces it cannot control. Overnight growth can feel intoxicating, but it is fragile. I watched this happen early in my career. Brands would obsess over chasing every new app, every trending format, every viral challenge. Attention may come, but without substance, it evaporates. I realized that energy spent chasing temporary moments is energy lost from building a brand that truly matters. Longevity does not come from algorithms. It comes from intentional creation.

Impact Outlasts Metrics

Impact is measured not in clicks, but in influence, loyalty, and trust. It lives in relationships with your audience, your team, and your collaborators. It is cultivated slowly, intentionally, and consistently. Bagatiba is a perfect example. Its minimalist jewelry designs do not rely on hype cycles. Each piece is timeless, meaningful, and worn because it resonates—not because an algorithm told someone to buy it. The same goes for Basic Swim. Minimal silhouettes, empowering cuts, and neutral tones make pieces that are relevant season after season. Impact is lasting. Metrics are temporary. That is why I prioritize building systems, culture, and products that leave a mark.

The Long Game Mindset

Building for impact requires patience, foresight, and restraint. It means prioritizing quality over quantity. It means making choices that protect brand integrity even if they do not produce immediate viral spikes. I do not measure success by impressions or engagement alone. I measure it by influence, sustainability, and authenticity. That mindset allows multiple brands to flourish without burning out or diluting vision. It allows me to pursue ambitious creative projects, from Tase Gallery to immersive retail experiences, without being consumed by the constant pressure of instant gratification. The long game mindset is less glamorous than virality, but infinitely more powerful.

Consistency Is the Hidden Superpower

Virality is fleeting. Consistency compounds. Showing up, delivering quality, honoring your vision, and nurturing relationships creates momentum that algorithms cannot generate. Every touchpoint matters. Every product, every collaboration, every experience communicates your values. Over time, consistent reflection of who you are builds trust, credibility, and ultimately, legacy. Customers feel it. Collaborators notice it. The market respects it. That is how a brand survives the noise and continues to grow steadily.

Resist the Urge to Chase Trends

Trends tempt you with speed and visibility. They promise a quick win, but they rarely align with your vision. Chasing trends fragments energy, dilutes your identity, and undermines your long-term strategy. I have learned to be selective. To say no to shiny opportunities that do not serve my mission. Every NO preserves creative bandwidth and protects the integrity of my brands. Every YES is intentional, strategic, and aligned with long-term impact. That is how small ideas scale into meaningful enterprises.

Influence Is Built, Not Bought

Likes are cheap. Influence is earned. A brand that prioritizes depth over virality becomes magnetic. People are drawn to authenticity, values, and purpose. When you focus on impact, you create a ripple that extends far beyond the reach of any algorithm. People remember how you make them feel. They notice the care in your design, the thought behind your campaigns, and the authenticity of your voice. That is the real currency of lasting success.

Your Legacy, Your Standard

Ask yourself: what do you want to leave behind? Metrics fade. Algorithms shift. But a brand built for impact resonates for years, decades, and generations. My brands reflect intention, craftsmanship, and care. They are mirrors of my identity and values. Every decision, every product, every collaboration reinforces that reflection. That is the difference between chasing likes and building a legacy. Legacy is slower. It is quieter. It is strategic. It is far more powerful.

The Real Flex

Legacy over likes is a choice. It requires courage, discipline, and patience. It is slower, quieter, and less glamorous than virality, but infinitely more powerful. When your work creates meaning, inspires action, and builds connection, you are no longer beholden to fleeting trends. You are creating a brand that matters. That survives. That thrives. That leaves a mark long after the likes disappear. That is the ultimate metric. That is the ultimate luxury. That is the power of building for legacy.

Your brand is more than a logo, a color palette, or a social media feed. Your brand is a reflection of you. Every choice, every decision, every interaction broadcasts who you are and what you stand for. When I first started building Bagatiba, I realized that the pieces I created were not just jewelry. They were statements about my values, my taste, and my vision. The same goes for Basic Swim. Minimalism, elegance, and timelessness are not just aesthetic choices. They are reflections of discipline, clarity, and intentionality. If your brand does not reflect who you are at your core, it will feel hollow. Audiences can sense it immediately.

Authenticity Is Non-Negotiable

People are drawn to brands that feel real. They sense when a brand is curated for optics versus lived truth. Authenticity is not a marketing tactic. It is a lifestyle. When you align your brand with your identity, every campaign, collaboration, and product drop becomes natural instead of forced. For me, that meant designing pieces I would personally wear, creating spaces I would love to inhabit, and building products that reflect the lifestyle I believe in. Authenticity attracts loyal customers, collaborators, and opportunities that resonate instead of fleeting attention.

Every Touchpoint Matters

Your brand communicates even in the smallest details. Packaging. Tone of voice. Photography. The way you respond to emails. Every interaction leaves a mark. I remember early on at Bagatiba, I insisted that even the tissue paper in a shipment feel intentional. Every texture, every fold, every choice reflected our values of care, quality, and simplicity. That attention to detail translates across every venture. At Basic Swim, the same principle applies. From swimwear fabric to online photography, the consistency of reflection builds trust. Your brand is a mirror, and consistency is the reflection of integrity.

Self-Reflection Drives Brand Evolution

To understand what your brand reflects, you must understand yourself. I regularly ask: Does this decision align with my values? Does it reflect the vision I want to project? What am I communicating through this collection, this post, this experience? Self-awareness drives brand awareness. If you evolve internally, your brand must evolve externally. Brands that do not reflect the founder’s growth feel stale. Brands that mirror intentional self-reflection feel dynamic, aspirational, and magnetic.

Boundaries Protect the Mirror

Not everything deserves a place in your brand. Saying no is as critical as saying yes. Every collaboration, product, or partnership should either reflect your vision or build toward it. Noise dilutes the reflection. Clarity preserves it. I learned that the hard way. Early opportunities looked shiny on the surface but misaligned with the essence of my work. Protecting the mirror of your brand allows your vision to remain undistorted and powerful.

Emotional Connection Is the Result

When your brand truly mirrors your identity, it becomes magnetic. Customers do not just buy products. They buy connections. They buy a sense of alignment with values they admire. That is why Bagatiba jewelry is more than an accessory and Basic Swim is more than swimwear. They represent intentionality, care, and timelessness. When your audience sees themselves reflected in your brand, loyalty and impact compound. That is how small ideas scale into meaningful businesses.

Quotes for Reflection

Your brand is a mirror. What is yours reflecting? If it does not excite, inspire, and align with who you are, it is time to recalibrate. Your identity is not separate from your business. It is inseparable. Every choice you make shapes perception. Every choice reflects your values. Every reflection becomes your reputation. Build with awareness. Lead with intention. Mirror your best self.

The Long Game

Brands that survive trends survive because they are authentic reflections. They are consistent, intentional, and aligned with a deeper vision. They grow slowly but sustainably, building trust, impact, and legacy. Longevity is rooted in reflection. When your brand mirrors your identity, growth is inevitable. It becomes less about chasing visibility and more about expressing truth. That is the ultimate luxury. That is the ultimate magnet. That is the power of the mirror.

Hustle culture tells you that if you are not working 16 hours a day, you are failing. That exhaustion is a badge of honor. That burnout is inevitable. I have lived that life, and I can tell you it is not sustainable. The real power is in building with intention, discipline, and boundaries. The brands I have created, from Bagatiba to Basic Swim, were not built on constant panic. They were built on calm, aligned, and focused action. This is the anti-hustle blueprint.

Discipline Without Obsession

Discipline is not the same as obsession. Hustle glorifies chaos. I glorify structure. Every day, I use calendars, notes, and clear expectations to guide my work. I do not rely on motivation alone because it comes and goes. Discipline creates consistency. Consistency creates momentum. Momentum creates growth. Growth without discipline is fleeting. Discipline is what allows you to scale a business without sacrificing your health, creativity, or sanity.

Boundaries Protect Creativity

Boundaries are the invisible scaffolding of success. I set limits on time, energy, and attention. I do not answer every email immediately. I do not chase every collaboration that comes my way. Saying no is not a weakness. It is power. Boundaries give you space to think, design, and innovate. They protect the essence of your brand and allow creativity to flourish instead of burn out.

Alignment Is Non-Negotiable

Every project I take on, every decision I make, is measured against alignment with my values and vision. Alignment is what keeps your energy focused instead of scattered. It ensures that every action contributes to a larger purpose rather than a fleeting trend. From product development at Bagatiba to immersive experiences at Tase Gallery, alignment has been the guiding principle. It allows me to pursue multiple ventures without losing coherence or burning bridges.

Balance as a Business Strategy

Balance is often seen as a luxury. I see it as a necessity. True balance means integrating work, creativity, passion, and personal life in a way that fuels, not depletes you. My routines are structured around energy cycles, creative flow, and reflection. I take time to breathe, pause, and recharge. That is not wasted time. That is time that strengthens decision-making, innovation, and leadership. Burnout is the enemy of vision. Balance is its ally.

Curiosity and Continuous Learning

Being anti-hustle does not mean being passive. Curiosity fuels growth. I study market trends, cultural shifts, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies. I explore ideas, test concepts, and iterate without pressure to produce immediate viral results. This approach allowed me to expand from jewelry to swimwear to retail galleries to immersive creative experiences. Growth driven by curiosity is sustainable growth.

Saying No to Say Yes Later

Every no is a strategic yes. Saying yes to everything is the fastest path to exhaustion. I choose opportunities that align with my vision and my energy. Every rejection protects my creative bandwidth and my brands’ integrity. Over time, these selective decisions compound into a reputation for intentionality and quality. That reputation is far more powerful than visibility alone.

Results Without the Burn

The outcome of the anti-hustle blueprint is clear. I have multiple brands, a growing creative platform, mainstream acting roles, and collaborations that excite me—all without collapsing under pressure. The secret is not working harder. It is working smarter. It is not measuring worth by hours logged but by value created. Discipline, boundaries, alignment, and balance are the pillars that sustain growth, creativity, and fulfillment.

Redefining Ambition

Anti-hustle is not laziness. It is a strategic ambition. It is redefining what success looks like in a culture obsessed with speed and noise. True ambition allows you to build, create, and expand without losing yourself in the process. By protecting your energy, aligning your vision, and pacing your growth, you can scale multiple ventures without sacrificing your health, passion, or sanity. That is the real flex. That is the anti-hustle way.

Luxury used to mean exclusivity. Price point. Hype. A waiting list. Today, I believe luxury means something else entirely. Longevity. In a world obsessed with fast drops, viral moments, and overnight brands, the rarest thing you can build is something that lasts. Trends move at algorithm speed. Attention spans shrink every year. Brands launch and disappear in the same season. I never wanted to build something that burned bright and burned out. I wanted to build something that could stand the test of time. Longevity is the new luxury because it requires patience, discipline, restraint, and vision. And those qualities are rare.

Fast Fashion Created Burnout Culture

The fashion industry trained consumers to expect constant newness. New colors. New capsules. New collaborations. New chaos. But constant newness creates exhaustion. Not just for customers, but for founders. When your entire strategy is built on chasing the next trend, you are always behind. You are reacting instead of leading. I made a conscious decision early on that I would not build brands based on urgency. I would build them based on intention. Intention scales. Panic does not.

Build Evergreen, Not Disposable

When I started Bagatiba, I was drawn to simplicity. Clean lines. Pieces you could wear every day. Jewelry that felt personal but not loud. I was not designing for a season. I was designing for permanence. That mindset shaped everything from product development to photography to pricing. If something feels timeless, it does not need to scream for attention. It earns it. The same philosophy built Basic Swim. Minimal silhouettes. Neutral tones. Cuts that empower instead of overpower. Swimwear that you want to pack every year, not just once for a trending vacation post. Evergreen design creates repeat customers. Repeat customers create stability. Stability creates longevity.

Relationships Are the Real Asset

To me, success has always been defined by the longevity of relationships and impact on the world. That applies to business as much as it applies to life. A brand is not just a product. It is trust. Trust with your customers. Trust with your team. Trust with collaborators. When you treat relationships as transactions, you build short term revenue. When you treat them as partnerships, you build decades. I choose long term alignment over quick wins. That sometimes means moving slower. It sometimes means saying no. But every no protects the foundation.

Sustainability Is Strategy

Sustainability is often treated like a marketing buzzword. For me, it is operational. It means not overproducing. It means designing pieces that will not feel irrelevant in six months. It means being thoughtful about growth instead of expanding just because you can. When you produce less but produce better, you reduce waste and increase value. That mindset benefits the planet and the bottom line. Scarcity created by intention feels different than scarcity created by chaos. Customers can feel the difference.

Discipline Over Hype

Hype is addictive. Viral moments are flattering. But hype without infrastructure collapses. I built my brands with discipline. Organized systems. Clear calendars. Strong boundaries. I am not motivated by being everywhere at once. I am motivated by building something that still feels strong ten years from now. Discipline protects creativity. It ensures that growth is sustainable instead of explosive and unstable. The brands that survive are not always the loudest. They are the most consistent.

Playing the Long Game

Longevity requires emotional control. There will always be someone launching faster, posting more, expanding bigger. If you compare constantly, you will feel pressure to speed up. I measure success by my own standard. That removes noise. When you stop chasing validation, you start building legacy. Legacy brands are not built on impulse. They are built on clarity. What do you stand for? Who are you serving? Why does your product exist? If you can answer those questions consistently, you can weather trends.

Burn Bright or Burn Long

Fashion loves the idea of the overnight success story. But what happens after the headline? What happens after the influencer spike. What happens when the algorithm shifts. If your brand identity is rooted in who you are and what you believe, you do not collapse when the spotlight moves. You continue. Quietly. Powerfully. Longevity is not flashy. It is steady. It is showing up year after year. It is refining instead of reinventing every season. It is protecting brand DNA even when trends tempt you to pivot.

The Future of Luxury

I believe the future of fashion belongs to founders who think in decades, not drops. Who prioritize craftsmanship over chaos. Who value relationships over reach. Who understands that sustainability is not optional. It is foundational. Luxury is no longer about excess. It is about endurance. When you build something that outlasts trends, you create freedom. Freedom from constant reinvention. Freedom from panic launches. Freedom from burnout. That is the real flex. That is the real status symbol. Longevity.

In Hollywood, first impressions are everything. Sometimes the story you tell about yourself is not spoken at all. It is written in fabric, color, silhouette, and accessories. Walking onto a red carpet, entering a premiere, or stepping into a high-profile event, your clothing speaks before you do. Style becomes your introduction, your statement, and your silent narrative.

Over time, I realized that fashion is more than aesthetics. It is a tool to communicate who you are, what you value, and how you want to be perceived. It is storytelling without words, and when used intentionally, it can be as powerful as any interview or social media post.

Understanding the Power of First Impressions

The red carpet is a unique space. Everyone is watching. Photographers are clicking. People are analyzing. In those moments, you are communicating a story without saying a single word. Every detail (from the cut of a gown to the placement of a necklace) matters. It shapes how people interpret your confidence, creativity, and personality.

I learned early in my career that the first glance often sets the tone for the rest of the interaction. You might be there to talk about your work, your brand, or your film, but the visual story you tell opens the door. That is why intentionality in fashion is so important. It allows you to guide the narrative rather than letting assumptions define it.

Choosing Outfits That Reflect Your Identity

Fashion is a reflection of who you are. On the red carpet, your choices should feel authentic. If your outfit does not resonate with your personality, it becomes a costume rather than a statement. I approach every event thinking about the story I want to communicate. Is it playful? Bold? Elegant? Innovative? Each decision, from color palette to silhouette, becomes a word in that story.

Accessories and details also speak volumes. A unique piece of jewelry or a carefully chosen shoe can convey subtle messages about creativity, confidence, or personal taste. Those small touches can transform an outfit into a layered narrative that communicates more than words ever could.

Balancing Trends and Personal Style

Hollywood is fast-moving. Trends come and go, and it can be tempting to chase every new idea. The challenge is balancing trends with your own style. Following every trend may get attention, but it does not tell your story. True style communicates identity consistently. It reflects your personal vision and values while staying current.

I have found that when you prioritize your own aesthetic over fleeting trends, your look feels more intentional. People begin to recognize your voice, not just the clothes you wear. That recognition builds influence, credibility, and respect.

Using Fashion to Build Confidence

One of the most overlooked aspects of fashion is its impact on confidence. When you feel good in what you wear, it shows. You move differently. You speak differently. That energy becomes part of the story you are telling. Walking onto a red carpet in a look that makes you feel powerful and aligned reinforces your presence and your authority in the room.

Confidence does not come from labels or price tags. It comes from understanding your style and trusting your instincts. When your clothing aligns with your identity, it becomes a tool for self-expression that enhances the way you carry yourself.

Fashion as a Form of Communication

Style is a language. On the red carpet, your outfit communicates messages without you having to explain them. It can convey creativity, ambition, sophistication, or even playfulness. Fashion can set the tone for interviews, networking opportunities, and public perception. It gives people context for who you are before you say a word.

I treat fashion as a way to create a first impression that is intentional and true to me. Every color, fabric, and accessory is chosen to reflect my personality and the message I want to send. In that way, fashion becomes one of the most powerful tools for storytelling in Hollywood.

Learning from Experience

Every red carpet experience has been a lesson in visual storytelling. Some looks landed perfectly. Others taught me what did not align with my message. Over time, I developed a system of preparing outfits in advance, understanding the event, and visualizing how I wanted to appear on camera. That preparation ensures that every appearance tells a coherent story that aligns with my personal and professional narrative.

The Impact of Intentional Style

Intentional style extends beyond the red carpet. It carries into meetings, collaborations, and personal branding. The same principles apply: clarity, authenticity, and confidence. When you dress with intention, you communicate purpose. You show that you understand yourself and the story you want to share with the world.

Hollywood magnifies the effect of style, but these lessons are universal. Every outfit can communicate identity and intention. Every choice is part of a larger narrative that shapes perception.

Making Fashion Your Narrative

Fashion is a tool. It allows you to tell your story without speaking. It communicates creativity, personality, and confidence in ways that words cannot always capture. The red carpet is the perfect stage to use that tool effectively. When your choices reflect who you are, they become part of a lasting impression. They allow you to guide the narrative instead of letting others define it.

Ultimately, style is a form of empowerment. It gives you control over how you are seen and the story you share with the world. By embracing intentional fashion, every appearance becomes a chapter in your personal and professional story, communicated silently but powerfully.

Landing my first lead role in Love Bomb for Amazon Prime was surreal. It was a milestone in my acting career, and it came with a new set of challenges and excitement. Lead roles are different from supporting parts because the story revolves around you, and every emotion, every scene, every moment carries weight. Preparing for it required focus, creativity, and, honestly, a lot of self-trust.

Immersing Myself in the Character

When I first got the script for Love Bomb, I knew I had to go deep. I spent hours reading and rereading it, breaking down my character’s motivations, understanding her fears, desires, and relationships. I wanted to make sure every choice I made on set felt authentic. Preparation is everything for a role like this. It is not just memorizing lines. It is about becoming someone else entirely, and being able to live and breathe that person convincingly on camera.

I also spent time journaling from her perspective, thinking about what she would feel, how she would move, and how she would react in every scenario. That kind of preparation keeps you grounded and helps you respond naturally during scenes. Acting is a mix of instinct and planning, and balancing both is the key to delivering a performance that resonates.

Drawing From Fashion Experience

One of the unique aspects of preparing for Love Bomb was integrating my fashion sensibility into the role. Wardrobe is not just clothing. It tells a story, reveals character, and influences how a scene feels. My experience running Bagatiba, Basic Swim, and Tase Gallery gave me an eye for detail and an understanding of how style can communicate personality.

Working closely with the costume team, I thought about how each outfit reflected my character’s journey. Colors, textures, and accessories all became tools for storytelling. Being able to merge my fashion knowledge with my acting made the process feel creative and immersive. It was an opportunity to connect two worlds I love (film and fashion) in a way that elevated both.

The Mindset That Makes a Difference

Lead roles come with pressure, and it is easy to overthink or doubt yourself. One thing I rely on is mindset. I remind myself that every challenge is part of the process and that the only thing I can control is my preparation and commitment. Taking a deep breath and centering myself before scenes helps me stay present and fully embody the character.

I also focus on being curious and open to direction. Acting is collaborative, and being able to take feedback, adapt, and experiment is crucial. Sometimes the best moments come from spontaneity and trust. Embracing that mindset keeps the experience exciting and allows me to grow as an actor.

Finding Inspiration in the Details

Preparing for Love Bomb also meant thinking about the little things that make a performance feel real. Voice, gestures, posture, and subtle expressions all matter. I studied scenes from films I admire and observed how actors communicate emotion through tiny details. Those small choices create authenticity on screen.

Additionally, I drew inspiration from real people and experiences. Observing how people behave in everyday situations and translating that into the character added depth to the performance. Being intentional with these details is what makes a lead role come alive and resonate with audiences.

Balancing Emotion and Energy

Lead roles require stamina. Filming is long, often intense, and emotionally demanding. I had to learn how to balance energy levels while staying emotionally available for each scene. This meant scheduling rest, practicing mindfulness, and keeping my body and mind in shape. Acting is a full-body experience, and being physically and mentally prepared allows you to give your best performance consistently.

Taking the Story Beyond the Script

What I loved most about Love Bomb was that it was more than just lines on a page. It was about conveying a story, a journey, and an experience that audiences could connect with. Every choice I made, from facial expressions to costume selection, contributed to telling that story in a way that felt real. That attention to detail is what separates a good performance from one that truly leaves an impact.

Beyond the Scenes

Love Bomb was a milestone, but it is also part of a larger journey. Each project I take on challenges me, teaches me new lessons, and allows me to push my craft further. I am excited about future roles that combine creativity, challenge, and collaboration. Acting, like fashion, is about evolving, experimenting, and finding new ways to express yourself authentically.

This lead role reinforced everything I believe about preparation, mindset, and bringing your whole self to the work. Every set, every costume, and every scene is a chance to grow, learn, and connect. And that is exactly what makes acting so thrilling and endlessly rewarding.

Working on Euphoria was one of those moments in my career where everything just clicked. From the first call about the role to stepping onto set, it was a whirlwind, intense, and absolutely unforgettable. I have been fortunate to work in fashion, film, and television, but landing a high-profile TV role like this felt different. It was exciting, nerve-wracking, and a real validation of the work I have put into building my career.

The Moment It All Changed

I remember getting the audition notice and feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety. This was Euphoria, a show that had already captured so much attention and acclaim, led by Zendaya, who is one of the most incredible actors I have ever met. I knew immediately that this role would require not just talent, but preparation, presence, and confidence.

Preparation is everything. I spent weeks studying the character, understanding her motivations, and imagining how she would interact with the world around her. I wanted to honor the story and the people who had already created such a powerful world. It was about more than memorizing lines. It was about embodying a character in a way that felt real, nuanced, and true to the series.

Working with Zendaya

Zendaya is extraordinary. Watching her on set is like witnessing a masterclass in acting. She is focused, disciplined, and creative in ways that push everyone around her to elevate their performance. She makes it easy to perform your best because she creates an energy that is collaborative and supportive, but also incredibly professional.

Working alongside her taught me how to trust the process, stay present, and lean into the intensity of the moment. There is something about acting with someone of her caliber that challenges you to be better, to push harder, and to bring every ounce of authenticity you have to your performance. It was inspiring to see her balance focus with creativity, and it reminded me why being prepared is so important.

The Mindset Behind High-Profile Roles

Landing a role on a show like Euphoria is about more than talent. It is about mindset. You need confidence, resilience, and the ability to take risks. I approach every project with the mentality that preparation meets opportunity. You never know when the perfect moment will come, so you have to be ready for it.

I also try to embrace vulnerability in my work. The characters I play are real people with complex emotions. Showing up fully and allowing myself to be seen on camera is essential. That level of honesty creates a connection with the audience and makes the performance resonate. For me, mindset is the difference between a good performance and one that truly leaves an impact.

Lessons Learned on Set

Being part of Euphoria taught me a lot about collaboration. Every set has its own rhythm, and every actor brings something unique to the table. The crew, the directors, and my fellow cast members all contributed to an environment that was both challenging and supportive. I learned that listening is as important as performing. Observing, reacting, and adjusting in the moment is what keeps scenes alive and authentic.

One of the most memorable parts of the experience was seeing how wardrobe, styling, and production design all work together to tell a story. Coming from a fashion background, I naturally noticed these details. It made me appreciate the way every element on set contributes to the character and the narrative. Acting is not just about the dialogue. It is about embodying a world, and understanding that world is part of the preparation process.

Beyond Euphoria

While Euphoria was a major milestone, it is also a stepping stone. Every project I take on is part of a larger journey. I am constantly looking for roles that challenge me, allow me to grow, and align with the vision I have for my career. Working on television has expanded my understanding of storytelling and performance in ways that I can bring back to film, fashion projects, and even my own creative ventures.

For me, acting is not just a job. It is a craft, a form of expression, and a way to connect with audiences. Each role teaches me something new about creativity, communication, and collaboration. It also reinforces the importance of being intentional about the projects I take on and the stories I want to tell.

Advice for Aspiring Actors

If I could give one piece of advice to anyone chasing high-profile roles, it would be this. Prepare like your career depends on it, because it does. Study your characters, understand the world you are entering, and show up fully present. Confidence and resilience will carry you further than any shortcut.

Also, embrace every opportunity to learn from those around you. On Euphoria, I learned from Zendaya, from the directors, and from the crew. Every moment is a chance to grow, to observe, and to elevate your craft. Keep pushing yourself, stay curious, and never lose sight of why you started.

The Road Ahead

Landing a role on Euphoria was unforgettable, but it is just one part of my journey. I am already looking at new television and film projects that excite me creatively. Each role is a chance to explore a different story, to connect with new audiences, and to challenge myself in ways that keep me growing.

For me, acting is about passion, preparation, and presence. Every set, every scene, and every role is part of building the career I have always dreamed of. Working on high-profile projects like Euphoria reminds me why I started and why I continue to pursue this path with everything I have.

People often ask me how I went from modeling on runways to acting in films and television. Honestly, it has been a wild ride, full of risks, lessons, and moments that completely changed the trajectory of my life. My career has never been traditional, but I have always believed that if you are passionate and persistent, doors will open.

Starting Out in Fashion

I grew up in Miami, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to be part of something creative. I started modeling in my teens, and it gave me a sense of discipline, confidence, and an understanding of the power of presence. Standing on a runway is not just about walking and looking good. It is about commanding attention, telling a story through movement, and conveying emotion without saying a word. Those lessons have stayed with me and are something I still carry into my acting.

Modeling also taught me how to handle rejection and persevere. Not every audition or casting call worked out, and not every job went perfectly. But each experience was a building block, a way to learn and grow. By the time I was working with international brands, I felt like I had a foundation that few people my age ever get.

Breaking Into Mainstream Film

My transition into acting was not an accident. In 2010, I made the bold choice to leave high school just months from graduation and move to Los Angeles to pursue film and television. It was a scary leap, but I knew I needed to chase what felt authentic to me.

The first few years were tough. I was navigating a new city, learning about film, and figuring out how to translate my runway experience into screen presence. But my background in fashion gave me an edge. I understood how to move in front of a camera, how to express emotion through posture and gesture, and how to carry myself with confidence even in high-pressure situations.

Eventually, that persistence paid off. I was fortunate to work with incredible actors and directors, including Timothée Chalamet on Hot Summer Nights. That experience taught me so much about collaboration, timing, and the nuances of performance. Working with people who are equally dedicated to their craft reminded me that acting is a team effort, and that being prepared and professional is everything.

Learning On the Job

Acting is a constant learning process. Every role challenges you in new ways, and every set has its own energy. When I appeared on HBO’s Euphoria, I was stepping into a high-profile project with talented actors like Zendaya. Watching her work ethic, focus, and creativity in real time was inspiring. I took notes not just on acting, but on presence, communication, and leadership on set.

I also try to bring my fashion sensibility into my roles. Costume, wardrobe, and styling can completely change how a character feels. My experience working with brands like Prada has been invaluable. Being involved in fashion projects and campaigns taught me the importance of visual storytelling, which translates beautifully to film. Every outfit, every accessory, every color choice tells a story, and I love thinking about how that informs my characters.

The Connection Between Fashion and Film

For me, fashion and film are two sides of the same coin. On the runway, you are telling a story through movement, light, and emotion. On set, you are telling a story through character, dialogue, and expression. Both require confidence, presence, and the ability to captivate an audience. My runway experience gave me a unique perspective when I started acting. I knew how to command a camera, convey emotion, and make every frame count.

Even now, I find inspiration in fashion for my acting work. When I am preparing for a role, I think about how wardrobe, color, and texture can shape a character. Working on projects that involve high-fashion collaborations, like short films for Prada, allows me to explore the intersection of style and performance in ways that feel fresh and innovative.

Advice to Aspiring Actors

Looking back, the biggest lesson I have learned is that persistence and belief in yourself matter more than anything else. Your path will not look like anyone else’s, and that is okay. Trust your instincts, embrace your creativity, and do not be afraid to take risks. Every runway I walked, every campaign I shot, and every audition I went to was a step toward where I am now.

I also encourage aspiring actors to pay attention to all aspects of storytelling. Acting is about more than lines. It is about movement, emotion, and connecting with your audience. Your experiences outside of acting (whether in fashion, art, music, or life in general) will only make you stronger and more versatile as an actor.

The Next Chapter

My journey from the runway to the screen is far from over. I am continuing to take on roles that challenge me, push me creatively, and allow me to tell stories that matter. I am also exploring writing and directing my first short film, which is an exciting next chapter. For me, every project is about growth, connection, and staying true to who I am.

Transitioning from fashion to film has been an adventure, and it has taught me that confidence, creativity, and persistence can take you anywhere. From walking on runways to standing in front of a camera, I have learned that each step, no matter how small, is part of a bigger story. And that story is always evolving.

Let me be real for a second. People always ask me how I do it all. Acting, running multiple fashion brands, designing, creating, and somehow not completely losing my mind. The answer is simple. I don’t do it perfectly. I just make it work, and somehow it all fits together in a way that feels natural. Acting, fashion, and entrepreneurship are all parts of who I am, and honestly, they feed off each other in the best ways. Each piece of my life teaches me something that makes the other pieces stronger, more creative, and more meaningful.

Juggling My Passions Without Losing My Mind

I have always loved doing a million things at once. When I am on set, I am all in. Every emotion, every line, every nuance of the character I am playing matters. Working on Euphoria with Zendaya was insane. Her energy, her focus, and her ability to just be on set was contagious. Watching her reminded me how important it is to be fully present for every project you take on. And Timothée Chalamet on Hot Summer Nights was another lesson in dedication and artistry. Seeing him balance his craft with personal projects inspired me to embrace every part of my career without compromise.

Even while acting, I am thinking about my brands. Acting teaches storytelling, and storytelling flows into the way I approach design and business. When you are telling a story, you notice details, you think about how people will perceive things, and you understand the power of presentation. All of these lessons carry over to Bagatiba, Basic Swim, and Tase Gallery. Cross-pollination is what makes it fun rather than stressful.

Running My Brands Like a Boss

Then there is the business side of my life. I have Bagatiba, Basic Swim, Tase Gallery, and Tase Home. Each one has its own energy, challenges, and creative opportunities. Bagatiba started as a tiny passion project designing delicate jewelry. Seeing it grow into a celebrity favorite and being featured in global publications is surreal. Basic Swim allowed me to explore minimalist swimwear with a modern edge and make it accessible. Tase Gallery became this playground for immersive experiences where fashion, art, and lifestyle collide. Tase Home, our furniture line, gave me a chance to translate that creativity into tangible objects for people to bring into their homes. Collaborating with Nordic Knots on our first rug collection was a dream because it merged art, design, and functionality in a way that felt fresh and exciting.

Running these businesses is not just about managing operations. It is about vision and energy. I want everything to reflect what I believe in and the aesthetic I am building. I rely heavily on my incredible team, but I make it a priority to be involved in the creative direction of every collection, launch, and collaboration. It is demanding, but when you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work.

Mindset Is Everything

One of the most important factors in managing everything is mindset. Believing in yourself and trusting your instincts is non-negotiable. Planning is crucial, but adaptability is even more important. Things rarely go according to schedule. Shoots run late, shipments get delayed, collaborations require last-minute tweaks. Staying calm and tackling what matters in the moment is how I keep it together.

I also carve out time for myself. Rest, inspiration, reflection. These moments are essential. They are when the best ideas come to life. Whether I am sketching a new jewelry piece, planning a short film, or preparing for a lead role in Love Bomb, taking time to breathe allows me to approach each project with clarity and energy. Balance is not about doing it all at once. It is about making time for the things that recharge you so that you can show up fully for everything else.

Fashion Meets Film

Fashion and film have always been intertwined in my life. On set, I think about wardrobe and style in ways that most actors might not. Every costume, every accessory, every detail communicates something about a character. My background in fashion gives me a perspective that is really useful on screen. At the same time, acting influences my fashion work. Seeing how clothing moves, how it photographs, and how it feels on camera helps me create designs that are dynamic, alive, and versatile.

For example, when I was preparing for Love Bomb, I thought carefully about how costume and character could interact. I bring the same attention to detail into every jewelry collection, every swimwear line, and every gallery piece. Fashion and acting are two sides of the same coin for me. They are both about creating experiences and telling stories that resonate.

Looking Ahead

Balancing acting, fashion, and entrepreneurship is a constant journey. Each year brings new opportunities and challenges that push me to grow. I am working on my first short film where I am writing, directing, and starring. That project excites me because it combines every skill I have been building over the years. I also have collaborations coming up in fashion and home design that feel more ambitious than ever.

Ultimately, balance is personal. What works for me might not work for anyone else. The key is to stay true to your vision, trust your instincts, and embrace the challenges of pursuing multiple passions. Acting, fashion, and entrepreneurship are not separate worlds for me. They are all part of the same story, and I love living it fully. Every set, every design, and every business decision is a chance to grow, learn, and create something meaningful. That is what makes life exciting, fulfilling, and worth it.

Jessie Andrews is more than a designer, model, and entrepreneur. She is an ‘It Girl’. From front-row seats at fashion week to global media recognition, Jessie has built a personal brand that blends style, influence, and creativity. Her journey shows that being an ‘It Girl’ is not just about appearances. It is about authenticity, innovation, and the courage to carve your own path. It’s something so hard to measure, and if you get it, you get it. It’s cultural relevance.

The Making of an It Girl

Jessie’s rise to cultural prominence did not happen overnight. Growing up in Miami, she was drawn to creativity and performance. In 2010, she made a daring move by leaving high school just months before graduation to pursue creative opportunities in Los Angeles. Her early work in modeling and acting laid the foundation for her growing presence in the fashion world.

Her breakthrough came unexpectedly while shopping at American Apparel, where she was scouted to be the brand’s exclusive model. From that moment, Jessie became a fixture in the fashion industry, gracing the covers of publications like Harper’s Bazaar, LA Weekly, and Numero.
Jessie also highlights the importance of balance. She believes that passion and pleasure must coexist, a perspective that informs both her creative choices and her personal brand.
